Headmaster's Round Up Print E-mail

Congratulations to the following children who have excelled in a range of disciplines over the last few weeks. Firstly, well done to the nine Year 5 children who took a LAMDA examination in ‘Choral speaking’ Grade 1 where they had to perform 2 poems. The group was awarded ‘Distinction’ with an amazing score of 98/100 and included Nell Bruin, Belles Ellis, Lucia Hedges, Chloe Masson, Laurence Pope, Alice Sharp, Oliver Styles, Isabelle Traynier and Sreya Vegasana.

Also a special vote of thanks to Miss Wooderson who has led the LAMDA Club and guided the children throughout.

Well done to our Year 6 girls who represented the school at A & B team level in the St. Christopher’s Rounder’s Tournament held at Old Dunstonians on Friday 4th May.

While the ‘B’ team battled hard against predominantly ‘A’ teams from other schools, the ‘A’ team proved to be unbeatable and as a result were the overall winners.

Swapping the rounders bat for a cricket bat, congratulations to Chloe Masson who has just been selected for the U11 Bromley District Cricket squad. This is particularly impressive as Chloe is still in the U10 age group.

In the pool, three children namely Nathaniel Sawyer, Nell Bruin and Jessica Shiu recently took part in the Black Lion Spring Open held in Gillingham over two days. Between them they managed to amass ten medals the highlight being a 1st place for Nathaniel in the 100m breaststroke.
