From Reception upwards class teachers are responsible for English, Mathematics, Science, Religious Education, History and Geography. Art, Drama, French, Music and PE/Games are introduced at either Kindergarten or Reception, all delivered by specialist teachers. Regular outings and trips are arranged to support the class curriculum. Outside guests are also invited to school to address the children on a range of topics and interests.

Each child's progress is carefully assessed and monitored during the year. In the Prep (year 3-6) a weekly grading programme provides an ongoing record of achievement while examinations confirm academic standards. Parents’ evenings provide the opportunity to discuss the children’s progress and welfare.

Children who require extra support whether it be re-inforcement or extension work are identified at a very early age. A Learning Support Co-ordinator is in place to monitor progress.
