Sport at St Christopher’s The Hall is a vibrant and integral part of school life, a celebration of teamwork, perseverance, and personal achievement.
Led by our passionate PE and Games department, we offer a dynamic and inclusive sports curriculum that encourages every child to discover and develop their athletic potential.

At St Christopher’s, sport plays a vital role in pupils’ daily lives. Throughout the year, children participate in both PE and Games lessons, giving them a wide range of opportunities to develop skills, teamwork, fitness, and overall well-being. In Games lessons, pupils enjoy sports such as football, rugby, netball, cricket and hockey, taking part in regular fixtures and tournaments against other schools in the St Dunstan’s Education Group, as well as a wide range of independent and prep schools across the region. These competitive experiences provide invaluable opportunities for pupils to challenge themselves, represent their school with pride, and form lasting friendships. In PE, the focus is on physical literacy through gymnastics, dance, fitness, athletics, swimming and fundamental movement skills.
Our excellent facilities provide the perfect environment for pupils to thrive, whether they are taking their first steps in sport or preparing for high-level competition.
A wide range of after-school clubs are available to all pupils, while dedicated squad training sessions take place before and after school to prepare for both local and national tournaments. Above all, sport at St Christopher’s is built on enjoyment, commitment, and excellence, with the ultimate goal of fostering a lifelong passion for sport and physical activity in every child.
