Fight for Sight Assembly
The charity we are supporting this term is Fight for Sight. We were visited in assembly on Friday by Joe Pepper, a young local teacher who has himself had benefit from the research funded by the charity. During the assembly, Joe explained to the children how his condition has caused his sight to deteriorate to the point of almost being blind, but also how stem cell treatment has stopped the degeneration.
One of our Year 5 pupils is also 'a face' of the chárity.
We are sure that you will want to support work in this vital field through our charity collections this term.
A Gift aid form is available to download. Should you wish to use one for your donations this term, please return it to Mrs. Purton by the end of term.
