Charity Update

Please read on for details of an upcoming charity day and for other charity updates...

Friday 9th October - World Mental Health Day

Next Friday, as a whole school, we will be celebrating and raising funds for:

Hello Yellowā€¯ Young Minds Campaign - Fleetwood High School

Young Minds is a mental health charity that supports young people.

All the children will have the opportunity to wear something yellow for the day. This can either be a full costume or an accessory such as a Bob the Builder hat, yellow hair bow, yellow socks etc. (those of you in Hillary House are very lucky as you already have something yellow!)

Please do not feel obliged to have to buy anything special, a homemade hat etc. would suffice.

Please could the children bring in a £1 donation which will be collected in the morning by their class teacher.  For the Lower School, this will be in place of their Wednesday collection in assembly.

Macmillan Coffee Morning

Congratulations to Toby and Lillie Richards!

Last Friday after school, Toby (Yr. 6) and Lillie (Yr. 4), held a cake sale outside their house.  They had baked the cakes themselves and managed to raise £445 for the charity!  WELL DONE!  (The cakes were delicious by the way!)

Co-ordinator News

Miss Harris (1H) will be taking over from Mrs Rudge as the Charity Co-ordinator to work together with Mrs Coombs- Organ.  Thank you Miss Harris!

Thank you from all three of us for your continued support,
