Out with the old and in with the new!

The school is pleased to announce that in the autumn, with the help of a generous donation from the SCA, it will be buying a new minibus and, as a consequence, will be able to donate the final old minibus to Hope4Malawi, where it will be put to very good use.

As some of you will remember, a few years ago, the school donated an old minibus to Hope4Malawi.   We were thrilled to hear from Sarah Goodman, who runs the charity in the UK, that the bus is going strong and doing great work in Africa.  Wiktor, who runs Fishermans' Rest, Hope4Malawi's partner in Malawi, reports that it is used every day, either to transport equipment for borehole repair, to take maize to the schools for the feeding programmes or to take staff and visitors to projects.  It has been tremendously reliable, only needing minimal maintenance work.

Thank you to the SCA for enabling an acquisition which will benefit not just our own children, but those in Malawi as well.
