Mrs Zsanett Ashcroft

I graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with a BMus honours degree in Music Performance. I have performed extensively in concerts and festivals in Europe and Asia. I am also a Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music and have over 20 years teaching experience having worked with students of all ages and levels. Many of my students have gone on to study music in higher education. I am also a composer and events producer specialising in inter-cultural collaborations.

I graduated from Middlesex University in 2007 with a B.A. (hons) Music (Jazz) and hold a PGCE from the University of Plymouth 2009. I am currently the guitar teacher at Balgowan Primary School in Beckenham, having worked there since 2016. I am also employed by BYMT and teach Bass and Piano for their Rock School ensemble.

I continue to make music in my spare time being active as a composer and performer. I am an eternal student of music and the arts!

I was educated at Chetham’s School of Music, Huddersfield University and Goldsmiths College. When not teaching, I perform regularly at ‘Phantom of the Opera’, English National Opera and Rambert Dance company.

Mr Francis Christou

I have taught at St Christopher’s The Hall for over 25 years and also teach at Sydenham High School. During my playing career, I played with some of London’s leading orchestras and chamber groups, broadcast frequently and made several solo appearances. I also worked in the field of contemporary music and gave performances of period works on original instruments.

I have taught at St Christopher’s the Hall since 2011. My qualifications include a BMus Hons from Goldsmiths College and a Postgraduate Certificate in Voice from Trinity College of Music in London.  I also gained the CT ABRSM Teaching Certificate in 2004, and performed in semi-professional opera through the South East for many years. I am currently studying to become an Estill Master Teacher with Estill Voice International. I also teach privately in my home studio in Beckenham and have a singing academy for school aged children. In addition to my teaching I use singing as therapy for people with dementia, I am a Dementia Champion and am also part of an expert panel on Singing for the Brain with the Alzheimers Society. I am lucky to say that I love my job!

I have been teaching the oboe and piano at St Christopher’s The Hall for 7 years and I also teach the oboe for Bromley Youth Music Trust.I am a freelance musician and play in a variety of local and London orchestras and smaller ensembles. I have performed in France, Germany and Saudi Arabia with my wind quintet. My hobbies include hill walking and singing.

Mr Nicholas Mannoukas

I am a recent graduate of the Royal College of Music, and am Organist and Assistant Director of Music at St Laurence Church in Catford. I have been teaching piano for St Christopher's The Hall since September 2017, and also work at other schools in and around the borough. In addition to my teaching, I very much enjoy accompanying, and have a number of individuals and groups with whom I work regularly.

I studied at the Royal College of Music, London and have worked for most of my adult life in music education.  My qualifications are BMus, MA, PGCE and ARCMMany of my violin pupils have received music scholarships at prestigious schools such as Benenden School, The Brit School, Dulwich College, Trinity School, Purcell School, Wellington College, St Paul’s Cathedral School and Eton College. I have taught violin at St Christopher’s the Hall School for more than 15 years and I also maintain an active playing career as a violinist.

have been teaching at St Christopher’s since September 2017. I am also a Brass tutor for Bromley Youth Music Trust, and teach privately around the borough and beyond.

I hold a BMus (Hons) from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and a postgraduate MPerf from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Aside from teaching, I work with orchestras and other ensembles in London and around the UK, and am a member of the 2018 Southbank Sinfonia. 

Mrs Kathleen Webb

I studied at Royal Academy gaining LRAM for both flute and piano teaching, ARCM for flute and piccolo performing and GRSM degree.I have worked at St.Christopher’s and BYMT for many years teaching and accompanying. I am also involved in orchestral, chamber music and recital work.
