At St Christopher’s The Hall, we are committed to nurturing not just bright minds, but compassionate hearts.

Our pupils actively engage with a wide range of charities and community initiatives, learning the value of empathy, responsibility, and making a tangible difference.

Through fundraising events, volunteering opportunities, and collaborative projects with local organisations, children develop a strong sense of social awareness and civic responsibility. This includes our St Christopher in the Community initiative, through which we aim to give back 130 hours of time to local projects and causes each year.

Beyond our pupils, St Christopher’s is proud to play an active role in the wider community, building strong partnerships with local initiatives, schools, and cultural projects. By fostering these connections, we ensure our children grow up with purpose, confidence, and the drive to make a positive impact on the world around them.

Fundraising with Purpose: 100% pupil-led: Year 6 pupils pitch and vote on the charity they want to support each year. £4,950 raised last year for the Epilepsy Society through 12+ events including fun runs, bake sales, and car washes.

St Christopher’s in the Community: Pupils, staff, and governors contribute 130+ hours annually to hands-on community service. 50+ pupils participate in local volunteering projects each year.

Building Intergenerational Connections: 200+ interactions with older community members through singing, reading, card-making, and concerts.

Pupil-Led Community Action: The School Council leads 20+ local initiatives per year, including litter-picking and other community projects.

Creative Giving: Boot Exchange: over 100 pairs of football and rugby boots swapped each year. Hope4Malawi Shoe Exchange supports 100+ children and families overseas annually.
