Update from the Headmaster

Please see below for an update from the Headmaster...

Dear Parents and children

I hope that you are all keeping safe and well.

After an emotional last day on Friday and much discussion and planning with the staff, we are now in a position to confirm the following:

If we are required to remain closed for an extended period and not return on April 22nd, St. Christopher’s will open for children whose parents are key workers and cannot be looked after safely at home. A skeleton staff will operate. Those parents registered for this will receive further details in due course. If you have not already notified us please do so as soon as possible by email to the bursar.

We are preparing for the eventuality that these conditions will extend into the summer term and for the rest of the school a remote learning platform will be in place using Google Classroom. More information on this will follow later.

This will be a challenging time for all of us but hopefully prove to be a valuable learning experience. I will endeavour to keep you up to speed with any amendments and hope that as always, I can rely on your support.

Invoices for fees will be sent out shortly and should be settled as usual, if you would prefer to pay monthly this can temporarily be done without the usual administration charge. If the current circumstances cause any difficulty with this please contact the bursar.

With very kind regards,

Andrew Velasco
