Y5 Hit London Town

On two separate trips, Y5 took the train to London to visit Dr. Samuel Johnson's House in the morning and the Bank of England in the afternoon...

At Johnson's House the children took part in a treasure hunt and learned about life in Georgian times. They particularly enjoyed dressing up as Georgians and were intrigued by gadgets used in the period.

At the Bank of England they enjoyed the many hands on activities and explored the museum to find answers to the quiz sheet challenge.

Needless to say, a full and active day ws enjoyed by all!
