Acro – £50 per child (max 20 children).
This will be run by the Louise Benson School of Dance on Mondays from 15th May to Monday 3rd July (inclusive) at lunchtime from 1.30-2pm.
Acrobatic Dance or ACRO, as it is commonly referred to by dancers and dance professionals, is the beautiful fusion of classic dance technique and the precision and athleticism of acrobatic elements. Often defined by unique choreography, acro dancers seamlessly blend musicality, emotional expression, line and extension, with acrobatic movements in a dance context.
The club will follow the acrobatic arts syllabus, which is a 12 step programme that starts at the very beginning of the arco journey, based on safe and effective progression in five divisions – flexibility, strength, balancing, limbering and tumbling.
