Description
Judo – £95 per child, this price includes grading and belts (max 20 children).
This will run on a Thursdays from 4th May to 6th July from 3.15 pm – 4.00 pm.
The club is run by Darren Hawney. Darren is a former British Champion and was part of the British team from the age of 14 until he retired in 2012. He has been to 3 Olympic Games as a training partner for the three time Olympian Winston Gordon. He decided to concentrate on coaching and has had success coaching 12 players to places in the GB squad. He coached the 2017 Junior European silver medallist, Aceyela Toprak, and is part of the England programme, making regular trips abroad with the England Judo team.
