Events for Prospective Parents
Open Mornings are the perfect way to experience St Christopher’s The Hall in action. Held twice a term, these events offer families the chance to see the School on a typical day, meet our vibrant community, and get a real sense of our ethos and values. You’ll enjoy a pupil-led tour of the school, hear from the Head, and have the opportunity to speak with staff and current parents—making it an invaluable part of your school search.
We also host a special Discovery Morning at the start of the academic year, held on a Saturday. This unique event gives prospective families the chance to explore what makes our school exceptional through a flexible menu of interactive talks. Led by our Senior Leadership Team, these sessions cover everything from curriculum and pastoral care to co-curricular opportunities, allowing you to focus on what matters most to you.
For families interested in our Preschool, we warmly invite you to one of our Stay and Play afternoons. These relaxed sessions offer you and your child the chance to enjoy time together in our nurturing setting, meet the current Preschool team, and experience first-hand the joy and creativity that fill each day. It’s a wonderful opportunity to see how we support early development and to ask any questions in an informal and friendly atmosphere.
Finally, each term, we also host a dedicated EYFS Welcome Workshop for prospective families considering entry into our Preschool or Reception classes, as well as current families in these year groups. While children enjoy themed activities and play, parents can meet current families, tour the school, and speak with key members of staff in a relaxed and informative setting.
