Our Life Skills Challenge are an exciting initiative designed to encourage children to develop practical skills, build confidence, and gain independence. From mastering everyday tasks such as tying their shoelaces, laying the table, and making their beds, to more advanced skills like cooking, loading the dishwasher, and tidying up, this challenge is all about empowering our students to take on real-world responsibilities.
We believe these essential life skills not only help children become more self-sufficient but also foster a sense of achievement and responsibility that will benefit them throughout their lives. By taking part in The Life Skills Challenge, children can enhance their problem-solving abilities, develop resilience, and contribute positively to their home environment.
The challenge is closely linked to our House system, where we celebrate everyone’s hard work and dedication. A special prize draw will be held for each House to recognise the efforts of our students, ensuring that every contribution is acknowledged and valued. We’re also excited to introduce more house-themed activities to further strengthen teamwork and house spirit.
We would love to hear about any additional life skills your child is learning at home! Please encourage them to share their experiences with their House Leader.
