Swimming Success

The St. Christopher's swimming teams continue to record excellent results...

The results from recent galas are as follows:

The St. Christopher’s v Croydon High gala was a great event for all girls, with St. Christopher’s coming second overall.
 
The South of the River gala saw  an amazing evening of swimming, with the girls coming second overall.  The U9s were second in their age group and the U11s third. 
 
Well done to Jessica Shiu, Chloe Shiu, Poppy Traynier, Scarlett Absalom and Ella Jenkins  who formed the individual medley teams.  The U9 freestyle and medley teams won gold and silver medals and the U11 freestyle team won a medal as well.
 
Congratulations to the team who had an amazing day of racing at the Kent Schools Swimming Championships, with the Freestyle team coming second and medley team coming first.
 
Individual positions were as follows:
Jessica Shiu - 1st in Breaststroke and 6th in Backstroke
Nathaniel Sawyer - 4th in Breaststroke and 5th in Butterfly
Charles Williams - 5th in Backstroke and 11th in Butterfly 
Harry Hutchinson - 7th in Breaststroke and 23rd in Freestyle
Harry Bruin - 9th in Backstroke and 21st in Freestyle
Scarlett Absalom - 10th in Breaststroke and 16th in Butterfly
Chloe Shiu - 20th in Freestyle 
Emily Rogers - 21st in Backstroke 
Poppy Traynier - 13th in Freestyle 
 
The Relay Teams will go forward to the Regional Championship in Guildford.
